Retro Zip is a hot applied granular thermoplastic pavement marking material for maintenance and retrace work. It’s produced in both Alkyd and Hydrocarbon as well. Due to the high binder content its melted at lower temperatures.

RetroZip Application Procedures

• Roadway must be clear of all debris and dry prior to application.
• Material will be heated to between 350°-400° F. Cooler temperatures will require more heat.
• When applying on concrete make sure all curing compound has been removed. Use our recommended sealer on concrete to assure a better bond. Follow instructions of the sealer that is linked. 
• Don’t apply when ambient and road temperatures fall below 50° F. 
• Heating above 440° F may cause a flash.
• Store Material in a dry area when possible.
